# User can’t edit draft

 * I had a client reach out to me that they created a post draft and went to edit
   it and when they hover over it to edit it they only get the trash option. We 
   do also use the User Role Editor plugin and I reached out to him first and he
   told me to deactivate all my plugins to see which was the one causing the issue
   and when I activated Revisionary I lost the option to edit. We use both of these
   plugins on all 250 of our sites. Can you please look into it so our clients can
   edit their drafts? I am happy to provide any more information to you need to 
   help get the problem fixed. Thanks!

   I’m not able to recreate this issue with the Contributor role on a fresh install.
   For diagnosis, does the error still occur if User Role Editor is deactivated?
   Can you explain:
    1. How you’ve edited role capabilities
    2. Any further modification of access which you need URE activated for

 * Yes the error still happens when I deactivate URE. Only time it works is when
   I deactivate Revisionary. I don’t have a test for you to investigate.

 * I just tried it on a new post and it was fine. I am wondering if it was just 
   a one off situation. I am having the client create another mirroring what he 
   did and see if it happens again. He said he would but he won’t be able to do 
   it until tomorrow.
