# User capabilities – Allow plugin for editor users

 * Hi,
 * Currently the site I am working on has the plugin implemented,
 * I created a user of type ‘editor’, but it does not have access to the plugin,
   it is not listed in the menu, how can I enable these permissions.

 * Hi [@develtwist](https://wordpress.org/support/users/develtwist/),
 * Only roles with the “manage_options” capability can currently access/change the
   plugin settings. So if you give your Editor role the “manage_options” capability
   they will be able to access it. But with that capability they will also be able
   to change other site settings so that may not be what you want.
 * Editors should be able to publish GMB posts however, since for that you only 
   need the “publish_posts” capability.
 * So after the initial configuration of the plugin has been done they should be
   able to use the main features.
