• I have s frequent user of my wordpress site that wants to contribute content. The site uses pages, rather than being a traditional blog. I really want to encourage them to provide content, but don’t want to have my site torn apart at some point in the future if they decide they want their material removed.

I’ve never had contributions from other people before.
Is there a ‘copyright’ plugin that gets contributors to agree to terms&conditions like this?

  • Not that I know of. Personally, I’d suggest that you draw up an agreement between you rather than rely on any kind of plugin. If you want to continue to retain overall control of your site’s content, restricting your user to the Contributor role will ensure that you (or another user who has Admin or Editor privileges) will have to actually publish the content. All the Contributor can do is submit it for review.

    Thanks.
Does the process of creating an author force them to agree to standard wordpress terms&conditions?
Or is there an open source legal contract anywhere I could email them?
