 * I’m looking for a tool that allows to build a database app quickly.
 * we want to set up a database for coordinating help requests and volunteers during
   the actual pandemic crisis. as we are volunteers too, we don’t have any coding
   budget.
 * what we are looking for is the following:
 * registered volunteers should be able to change a int field in a database table
   by pressing a button.
    the idea behind is to change the status of an existing
   help request e.g. from “new” to “picked” and later to “done”.
 * so we plan to set up two pages:
    1. a form where people needing help can insert
   their name and contact data 2. a list of open jobs where volunteers can pick
   one and press a button to mark it as “picked”.
 * as the end users a not computer aware, they should not be able to edit data filelds
   directly.
 * question now:
    can your tool build something like this?
 * Thx,
    Alex

 * Hi Alex,
 * Not 100% sure, but from what I understand from your question, I think this is
   possible. It’s just not possible with the standard version. I am developing a
   PRO extension (which is not free and not yet ready) that is able to do this.
   For your project I can give you the PRO extension for free.
 * Please take into account:
    – There is no documentation of the PRO extension yet(
   but I want to help!) – The PRO extension is in an acceptable state at this time
   to use – But… you will also need the latest version of the standard plugin which
   has some unfinished work (not affecting your area of interest)
 * If you want to use the PRO extension we should get in touch and get things going.
   You can use the website (wpdataaccess.com) to send me a message (footer > get
   in touch > contatcform).
 * We can give it a try! Le me know what you think…
 * Best regards,
    Peter
