 * We like Postie a lot! Thanks for a well designed and user friendly setup.
    We
now use Postie to post to a members only portion of our website so each post
must get marked for “logged in” users. Any way to tag the email to do this so
we do not need to go back and edit each post?

 * I’m not sure I understand what you mean by “marked”
 * Postie will try to find a WordPress user that matches the “from” email address
and use that user as the post author.

 * When a post is created either by email or directly from the dash board it is
visible to everyone. We have an area where a login is required by our members
to see things not available to the general public. This includes “Posts”. When
posting via the dashboard you select who can view the post. If you want it to
be viewable to only “logged in” users you select that option from the drop down
choices. Otherwise everyone/anyone can see the post. We use the “Simple Access
Control” plugin for this as it does exactly what we needed.
    Simple Access Control…
Allows authors to restrict access to pages and posts to logged in users. If you
do not restrict a post it is visible should a visitor access it directly. Hope
this helps and tanks again for Postie.

 * The Simple Access Control uses a custom field to control who can see the post.
 * If every post via Postie is supposed to be for logged in users only you could
create a simple Postie AddOn to set the ‘sac_locked’ custom field to the correct
   value.

 * If you need to control this for each email you send the easiest thing would be
to get the Shortcode AddOn then create a new shortcode to control the custom
   field.
