# user location map issues – using shortcode

 * Hi there,
 * I have a problem with the UM with the **UM extension for user location**:
 * When I add the lat/lan for the starting point of the map, the map shows a complete
   different city (La Chatterie – France instead of Linz – Austria).
 * This is the shortcode I’m using:
    [um_user_locations_map zoom=”14″ lat=”48.30639″
   lan=”14.28611″ height=”400″]
 * Is there a trick to force a starting point? Or is there a possibility to let 
   the map start from the location of the person who is searching?
