# User Login Redirect Loop Issues

 * I have a user who is getting the redirect loop at the login screen. I’ve tried
   many solutions and none have fixed the issue.
 * He’s the only one who hasn’t been able to log in out of all of the users and 
   it only just recently started happening within the last couple of weeks.
 * I checked the .htaccess file and I don’t see any redirect information there, 
   so I don’t think that is the issue. I don’t have any plugins that redirect.
 * I’ve tried changing the URLs and thus far, nothing is allowing him to log in.
 * I did a search and most of the issues I’ve seen are people with their admin logins.
   This is a user not the admin, so I’m not really sure what else to do.
 * Any suggestions?

 * Is said user perhaps posting unwanted links, comments on other websites and you
   are using a SPAM type plugin?

 * Not to my knowledge. Just sent me a message one day saying he couldn’t log in.
   Reset his cookies, etc. I tried a few of the fixes that I’ve searched out. Nothing
   seems to work.

 * Do you know this person? If not, just remove account, and ask them to re-register–
   if it’s one user, it is that their user setup is messed or their computer, their
   connection etc is.
 * To test if a user can login, create a new user account and try to login.

 * He’s been a regular contributor to the site for a while. New account didn’t work.
   I’m sure it has something to do with the redirect loop issues, I just can’t get
   it fixed with the solutions I’ve found.

 * Remove your .htaccess file…login, re-save permalinks settings…this will re-create.
   htaccess. Also check for .htaccess in other folders of site – use FileZilla to
   perform a remote search. Try again.
