# User Managed

 * Is it possible (somewhat easily) to allow users to manage their own placemark(
   s)?
 * i.e. I would like users to be able to create WordPress accounts, have a Placemark
   created for that specific user and then allow this user to manage their placement.
 * Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

 * Or how should I properly create a new placemark and query/edit the fields?
 * I’m thinking that I can hook into the user creation and create a new placemark
   when the user is created. For editing I can hook into the edit user page and 
   add the placemark fields there.

 * The plugin doesn’t provide a UI option for that, but you can use the `bgmp_post-
   type-params` filter to modify the capabilities required to create/edit Placemarks.
