 * First of all, I have to thank you for making such an amazing plugin. I’ve never
seen this level of integration in such a plugin.
 * Onto my problem. I installed phpbb and created an admin account named “XYZ”.
Coincidently, “XYZ” was also my admin account on wordpress. To test user integration,
I went ahead and logged into “XYZ” in wordpress. Then I went to phpBB to see “
   XYZ1” created in place.
 * Then I went to user mapping, and try to break integration between “XYZ” in wordpress
and “XYZ1” in phpBB. It would sucessfully load and everything, but the integration
would not break. Then I tried to remove “XYZ1” from phpBB, again it loads perfectly
fine making it seem as though everything went smoothly, but the user is not deleted.
 * I am just trying to manually map “XYZ” in wordpress to “XYZ” in phpBB. I can’t
do that until integration is broken between “XYZ1” and “XYZ”. I hope you could
help me fix this small issue.
 * The other problem I am having is something that I can’t work around for some
apparent reason. I have enabled “Theme Integration” with maximum compatibility.
I did not touch any other setting.
 * It created a forum page for me in the pages section it had a weird slug and some
   text in the page content.
 * the slug was something similar to this /forum/other-weird-key-alphanumeric-characters
 * I tried to view the page and it would come up as blank. I tried to also go to
the directory of where phpbb was installed and that was returning a blank page
as well. I removed the page, and disabled theme integration. Then I was able
to visit phpbb through it’s directory without any problems.
 * I really want to have phpbb inside one of my wordpress pages. I want it to seem
as though users are still using the same software and the same site.
 * It would be great if you could help with these two problems. Great plugin nonetheless.

 * Sorry for the delay.
 * I understand your problem. The issue is (I assume) that you have auto user creation
turned on, and you are logged in as the user you are editing. Basically, as soon
as you break the integration, WP-United is stepping in and recreating the mapping
for you, just as it is supposed to.
 * As the user already exists in phpBB, it’s finding the next available similar
   name for you.
 * The trick is to temporarily turn off auto user creation, clean up the auto-created
account you don’t want, and map the accounts together that you do want. Then
you can turn back on the auto-creation.
 * Bear in mind that you may have been logged in to phpBB as the new user during
   your previous efforts.
 * Hope this helps.

 * Okay thanks for the answer. I was able to fix it by simply changing usernames
but I’ll keep your post in mind for later problems. You didn’t mention the answer
   for my other question

 * Could you please help troubleshoot this problem?

 * Sorry for missing the second part.
 * I think there are probably two separate issues at play here.
 * The first issue with the page… WP-United just creates a blank WordPress page
with no special URL. The content of the page is nothing apart from an HTML comment.
 * When your page loads, the link to the forum page in menus / listings will be
automatically modified to point to the forums. The URL to the forum is calculated
based on your phpBB settings (check these in phpBB ACP -> server settings ->
domain and script path). If these are correct, the link will be correct.
 * The second issue, with blank pages in phpBB with template integration turned
on, is a separate problem. You are getting a server error (PHP fatal error) for
some reason — probably an incompatibility with one of your other plugins. On
most production sites the error will be suppressed so you just see a blank page.
The best you can do here is try to uncover the underlying error by debugging.
Once you can see the relevant error messages, we will have a better idea as to
what is causing the problem. Instructions on how to do this are here: [http://www.wp-united.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3314](http://www.wp-united.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3314)
