# User Profile Forms into Database

 * I am trying to create extensive profile fields to collect information from my
   users and have that feed into a MySQL database. I want the users to be able to
   change their answers and it be reflected in the database. Am I going about this
   the right way or is there a better way to approach this problem?
 * Less important. is there any way to make a grid checkbox form. I only see the
   checkbox option but wasn’t sure if there was a way to alter it.

 * this can be done with BuddyForms. You can store user submissions as user meta
   data or xProfile data.Also Posts with post meta data and both is stored in your
   mysql database.
 * Users are able to change there data and yes all is done from the frontend. You
   can create different forms to your needs.
 * grid checkbox form?
    –> We do have a checkbox form element and they can be inline
   or list view. You can use custom css to make it look and feel like you need it.
