# User profile shortcode not working

 * **i cant display a user profile page**
 * the **[user-profile]** shortcode just displays the shortcode on the page.i though
   it was a typo but i have tried all i can to make it work, i have even copied 
   the shortcode from the documentation and pasted it into my page but it doesn’t
   work. other shortcodes are working, at least all the other ones i have tried.
   please what do i do about it, i need a **user profile page** not an edit profile
   page or other pages that redirect to it. i need the page to be on it’s own so
   i can redirect users there after login. your answer will be appreciated.
