    Hello,

I want to understand how the user registration work with respect to sending them emails and having them make commments.

I want to send periodic emails to whoever signsup for it from my website.
I also want people to make comments to posts.

But for doing these, do i really need users to register to my site?
Or for example I can resolve this by signing up for a service like mailchimp for emails and disqus for comments and at no point i need users to register to me?

I prefer users to not register to me and register to meailchimp or disqus themselves . because 3 years from now i do not want a hacker to steal all user info from my site and be liable. is this possible ?

i mean what is the use of getting users registered to my site, if i can handle both sending emails and having comments without that?
