Username unicode problem

    Hi, the plugin is great but i have a problem.
    My file csv contain like username, name in thai language and english
    I can import only the name in english, for the other give me error.
    I try to create the csv in UNICODE format and also in UTF-8 but nothing change, please can you help me?
    I am using the standard import

    @alexdex,

    Good morning, try with LibreOffice, save the CSV using this spreadsheet and tell me.

    It seems to be some charset problem.

    Hi, so i try a lot of way, i try now like you told me with LibreOffice.
    Now i have this error:

    @alexdex,

    Now it seems that the CSV is broken.

    Could you try to create a user with an UTF-8 username manually?

    Hi, i try do create manually and does no work:

    ERROR: Please enter a username.

    ERROR: This username is invalid because it uses illegal characters. Please enter a valid username.

    @alexdex,

    So the problem is not from the plugin: this is a WordPress problem.

    Yes is wordpress, i do not found any solution, thanks in every case for your help

    Ask to the core developers.

    Maybe they can give you a solution.
