# User’s creating groups?

 * Pre-install question:
 * Is it possible to allow all users to create groups and manage who goes into those
   groups with this plugin? So if a person created a group, they would be the admin
   for that group and decide who is part of the group. Hope that makes sense.

 * Many thanks for the question! It’s in line with other similar requests, and I
   couldn’t agree more that having this would be great. It’s not available yet though
   and I wanted to go into more details about it, which I’ve done in this post:

 * Personally, I don’t want everyone to be able to create groups, because this could
   lead to duplicate groups. The whole purpose of groups on my particular website(
   s), is to bring people of like-mind & like-heart, who live near each other, “
   together”… rather than facilitate their separation from one another. So, even
   if you offer the “anyone can create a group” feature, I hope you will still continue
   to offer the current version that does not let anyone create a group. I think
   it would be nice to offer it as an add-on/extension. Namaste!

   input! Yes, I agree with you, the way things work should be kept as they are,
   not allowing anyone to create a group, even if we were to have such a possibility
   built-in or via an add-on.
