Users not syncing up

I recently set up my site. Now my problem may be between foro, buddypress and wordpress but the last two people who created profiles plus myself all synced up fine. My last friend who signed up, who should show up as Fred, does not show up in the member list. Oddly I did see he was not activated so I went in and activated him even though no one else had this happen. I tried using the sync button in the forum settings page but still nothing.
Anyone have any idea what could be going on? Ive scoured the backend for a setting Im missing and Ive got nothing.
