 * Hello Everyone,
 * I really want to use the 1140px framework to make a responsive theme. I have
   used grid systems before to make themes, but I’m new to using the 1140px theme
   for responsive themes. Here is an example of a responsive theme made on this
   framework [http://demo.studiopress.com/eleven40/](http://demo.studiopress.com/eleven40/)
   I know it is on the genesis framework but I’m familiar enough with working with
   both WordPress theming and the Genesis Framework to know that at least the responsive
   aspects will be almost identical to each other.
 * Here is what confuses me: how do you handle responsiveness with this? I mean
   I know you cannot alter the html by media queries, just the style, so if you
   have a sidebar how can you change it from lets say .4col floated left, to a 12col
   floated none (below content). It just is oddly confusing to me.
 * If anyone has suggestions that can help me with coding responsive themes in
   general that would be great. I want to offer my clients responsive websites as
   a standard operating procedure and I just want to have a solid base that I can
   build off of. I know no two projects are the same, I just usually like to start
   off with a good code base.
 * Thanks for everyone’s help
    Zach Russell

 * Did I explain this clearly enough, or do I need to go more in depth?
    Thanks
