 * Did you get it from here [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-live-css-editor/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-live-css-editor/)
which says NO PERMISSIONS NOR ROLES SETTINGS YET, DONT USE THIS PLUGIN ON PUBLIC
SITES, IT’S JUST FOR DESIGNER TIME.
 * If that is ok it should run like a normal plugin. Activate it and should add
something to the editor or somewhere else on the menu bar.

 * i did. i am not clear what the benefit of this plugin is when I can simply edit
the css files in WP already or use Vi editor.
    utter confusion getting a development
environment together w/o any experience in WordPress!

 * It allows “real time” edits but like you I don’t see the need. If you edit in
wp you are close to real time anyway.
 * I edit php and css in dreamweaver and upload to the server. Any problem and I
hit the “undo” button and upload the original again.
 * If setting up a development environment with the goal of bringing an project
live I wouldn’t myself use an untested plugin. Got enough to worry about.

 * makes sense, thanks… dreamweaver is your development environment… i’m not at
the point where i think it makes sense to move to that app.
 * any suggestions, book recommendation, or local tutor to hire! to get on board
with css code? in order to make changes to a theme’s framework ie. placing a
logo at the top left of my home page, rounding out edges of sections/boxes, changing
   fonts?
    thanks much.. Te

 * There are literally thousands of free courses on the web where you can search
for specific things you want to do.
 * I set wp with the default theme and then started playing with css to see how
it worked. Basically 5 years later I am still doing the same thing. I should
have long ago taken some free web classes. There are all kinds of books. I started
with and still use _CSS for Dummies _and _Word Press for Dummies _.
 * Good luck!
