# Using a hyperlink on post

 * I want to put a link on a present blog post that will refer to a past post. I
   know it should be a link but can’t understand the steps to make this happen. 
   Any suggestions?

 * WordPress makes this very easy actually. 😀
 * In a new post:
 * Visual mode: First highlight the text you want to be a link. Then select the 
   icon to the right of the align text buttons, looks like an 8 taped in the middle,
   that’s the link button. It will show you a list of previous posts on the bottom.
 * Just select the correct previous post and save.
 * For html mode, just click link and it will do the same thing. Hope this helps.
