# Using AJAX instead of hard refreshing page

 * First of all thank you very much for providing this plugin for free to us. Really
   appreciate it!
 * While reading the changelog I noticing that you stated that consents are handled
   by AJAX as of version 1.4.9. I’m running 1.5.0 but when I’m trying to consent,
   the whole of the page refreshes.
 * Am I wrong in thinking that with AJAX, there shouldn’t be a complete page refresh,
   but consents should be handled in the background?
 * A complete refresh kills the cache for our websites.
