# Using Blog template

 * I am using bridge theme. The blog display is called ‘blog small image’ and it
   lists the blogs in a way that I really like. I have my news page set up to list
   the news headlines and then once I click on a headline the full blog shows up.
   The design of the date and the subject is really amazing on the news page.
 * I wanted to use the same blog design to list my future events. I tried to list
   my events in the same way by making the events page a blog assigned to another
   category ( events) but obviously word press events will not list future events.
   If you try to create a blog post in the future it creates it as ‘scheduled’ and
   will not list it on the events page until the date arrives.
 * I tried making it a sticky page but the date function overides the sticky.
 * I wonder if there is a way to use my blog template design to list the event dates
   on the events page so when I click the date it goes to the events calendar details
   page? I hope this makes sense. Thank you
