Can’t seem to figure the issue I am having with the url of my uploaded audio.

I have it uploaded in the media as well as in bucket on Amazon S3. Right now neither appear to be working.

    Please assist.

Can you elaborate more on what’s not working? The page you’ve linked to is an admin page that requires username/password to access. (Please don’t post usernames/passwords on this public forum.)

I’m not sure what to put where.

Even my link from the uploaded media to the library doesn’t appear to be working.

    Hello @dschultz3,

Can you paste the media URL you are entering into the “Media URL” box? We can test it to see what may be wrong with it. S3 URLs can work but if you’re using S3 directly with https you may have issues, the SSL certificates Amazon uses are not accepted by Apple. Also you should use CloudFront (Amazon product) in front of S3, which would allow you to use your own SSL certificates.

    Thanks,
    Angelo

Media URL contains characters that may cause problems for some clients. For maximum compatibility, only use letters, numbers, dash – and underscore _ characters only.

Your media file URL has + characters in the media filename, which may be causing problems. Those characters in the filename may be occurring because you’re uploading the media file with spaces in the name. Upload media files that only contain these characters:
    letters
    nummbers
    dashes
    underscores

this seems to be giving me an issue as well

That media file URL comes up as “access denied” when I load it in a web browser. That’s an Amazon s3 issue, not a PowerPress issue. If you need help making the media file work on Amazon’s servers, you should contact s3 support.

    Hello @dschultz3,

It looks like the URL https://sportsradiownsp.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/TheGamePlan122019HR3.mp3 is accessible now, are you still having issues or is it working for you now?

    Thanks,
    Angelo
