 * I have several sub-domains on my site. One is using Drupal while others are using
   wordpress.
 * On drupal sub-domain user registration is allowed and they can post blogs etc.
 * I am now adding a sub-domain with wordpress to have directory listing. I want
   to allow drupal users to log-in to this sub-domain [wordpress] and post listings.
 * I know that I can allow user registration on my wordpress directory sub-domain
   but than users have to remember two login ids and passowrds.
 * I want to create a site wide single user system [that is on drupal] and to be
   used in wordpress. I can add required roles in drupal
 * Can respected members please guide me how I can achieve this?
 * Many thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

 * The last good plugin I saw for that was in 2007, and the site is gone now… I
   don’t think you can easily do this. What version of Drupal are you on, and have
   you asked them this?

 * I have found a plugin
 * [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/external-database-authentication/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/external-database-authentication/)
 * This allows me to connect to any database including drupal.
 * Now my problem is that I am using PremiumPress / DirectoryPress theme to create
   a directory and the theme is not supporting external user database.
 * With normal wordpress installation it is working great.
 * I hope to find a solution. I have asked theme developer as I have purchased the
   theme.

 * If the access to the wordpress site doesn’t need to be immediate and you’re using
   Drupal 6 (or previous versions) you could also directly migrate the user data
   from Drupal to WordPress every X hours/days/…

 * Hello softmodeling
 * I am not interested in migrating ….. I never asked for that.
 * My requirement was having single user database across all sub-domains using drupal,
   wordpress etc.
