# Using in bbPress

    i’would like use this plugin with bbpress. The shortcode [hide for=”!
   administrator”]Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.[/hide] don’t do hide at the moment.

 * Thank you for writing, and sorry for my delayed answer.
 * Shortcodes in bbPress are not active by default in forum posts and threads, so
   you may need to install an additional plugin for that to work: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/bbpress-do-short-codes/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/bbpress-do-short-codes/).
   That plugin hasn’t been updated recently, but it still seems to work fine.
 * On the other hand, the shortcode sample you provided is using curly quotes (””)
   instead of straight quotes (“”). That may be caused by copying the samples in
   the plugins’ description, which is not being correctly formatted. I will update
   the description as soon as I can, but you may want to change the type of quotes
   that you are using if it still doesn’t work after installing the other plugin.
