 * Hi, I am working on an archive retrieval form which requires the selected date
   to be implemented in two formats. (One for directory structure and second for
   file date-stamp). I have created a form with a calendar selection which will
   provide Date: in one format (‘year’y’month’mm’day’dd) but I need to create an
   alternate format for the datestamp (yymmdd) can I set up a second format using
   additional attributes or select parts of Date:?
    Thanks Naomi

 * Greetings!
 * Sure, you can!
 * Please go to **New Field > Basic Fields > Date**. Here you can change the [date format](https://vgy.me/5zeuED.png).
 * Thanks, have a nice day!

 * Hi, thanks for your reply. My form simply takes user input data and parses it
   together to determine a filename and location, the url is then provided to the
   user via custom text. The location and filename both include the date but in
   two different formats. I already have a date input field on my form with one
   of the two formats I need. The question is if I can use that input (Date:) and
   reformat it without the user having to enter the same date again in order to
   assign it to a second variable with a different format? Thanks Naomi

 * Greetings!
 * Unfortunately, we don’t have that functionality. However, you can add the needed
   custom Javascript code in **Forms > Form Options > Javascript** field.
 * Thanks, have a nice day!
