# Using Permalink Date Structure For a Page?

 * Is there a way to use permalink date structure (/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/) with
   pages, that is, anywhere else than in archives/posts?
 * My blog has a custom permalink structure
    /archives/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%
   postname%/. Now, I’m building up a photo gallery that could really use pretty
   permalinks, i.e. /photos/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/ for a page with a slug “photos”.(
   At the moment e.g. /photos/2006/10/28/ only brings up 404.)
 * This might be .htaccess issue, but I have no idea where rewrite rules are being
   defined.
 * I hope someone has an idea how to make this work without breaking _too much_ 
   WP core code.

   searched, I figure I should bump this thread because I’m also looking for the
   same thing.
