# Using same post grid shortcode for different languages and Polylang

 * Hello
    I have a site in spanish, with some post grids created and added to pages
   with shortcodes. I am now creating a second language of the site (gallego), and
   I was hoping I could use the same post grid shortcodes, because I want to display
   the same posts in the grids)
 * see for example:
    original: [https://ecorallyeacoruna.com/1-ecorallye/](https://ecorallyeacoruna.com/1-ecorallye/)
   translation: [https://ecorallyeacoruna.com/gl/1o-ecorallye/](https://ecorallyeacoruna.com/gl/1o-ecorallye/)

 * Hi,
 * As I know if you use any translation plugin for the different languages you need
   different shortcodes language-wise. One shortcode will not work for multiple 
   languages.

 * Yes..
    I was just hoping for example that the shortcode would work and show language
   1 on any page. For example
 * Spanish page
    -shortcode spanish
 * English page
    – shortcode Spanish
