    It’d great if I we can use shortcodes in the cell.

 * thanks for your post.
 * Actually, you can use Shortcodes in table cells!
 * TablePress supports all Shortcodes that use the corresponding WordPress Shortcode
   API, by default. Only Shortcodes that are implemented via custom code (i.e. manual“
   preg_match()” evaluation) in plugins need some minor extra code.
 * Do you have trouble with a specific Shortcode?

    I’m trying to use the [download] shortcode that comes with the Download
