    Hi there,

I am trying to display the share buttons via the [ssba] shortcode in the meta content of the post. The meta content is displayed at the end of each post.

However, when I use the shortcode, I lose the specific post content that is normally shared aka direct link to post. This does not happen when I use the main settings panels to place the share buttons ‘before’ or ‘after’. But I can not use the default settings placement since it doesn’t give me flexibility with formatting.

I was wondering if you knew how to implement the share buttons in the meta content while retaining the post link?

    Thanks in advance,

    Vikas

    Hi Vikas,

When using the shortcode it should make its best attempt to use the current URL and title if available.

You can add the title and URL attributes manually if this helps:

    [ssba title="Your title" url="http://yourdomain.com"]

    Hope that helps,

    David
