Hi, this is a great plugin, the premise is spot on.

We have a website with literally hundreds of nested links. To lose this menu would be a disaster(!) However, because our menu is so large the core “nav-menus.php” is unworkable for us due to the sheer size of the menu (it hangs and becomes unresponsive). We therefore use “Menu Manager Ultra” (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/menu-manager-ultra/) to manage our menu.

Unfortunately, your plugin does not appear on their menu UI page, and also when the menu is saved from this UI, your plugin is unaware of the change to the menu (and so a backup is not created)

Is there any way your plugin could be made to work with third party menu managers?

    Best Wishes

Hi there, and thanks for the kind words.

At the moment the plugin only supports WordPress core menus saved via Appearance > Menus. Third party menu managers like Menu Manager Ultra use their own save process, which bypasses the hooks my plugin relies on.

This might be something I look at in the future if there is enough demand, but it is not supported right now.

    Best wishes,
    Matthew
