 * I am concerned about the safety of using my Google pw to setup Site Kit. Is it
   possible to create a separate login user name and pw for Site Kit?

 * [@jordia](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jordia/) Users can use any Google
   account they have access to in order to set up and use Site Kit. You can create
   a separate Google account if you wish, just note that if your site already has
   existing Google Analytics and/or AdSense data, and you wish to use the same property
   and publisher ID, you will need to grant access to that [Analytics property in from Google Analytics](https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/9305788?hl=en#Add&zippy=%2Cin-this-article)
   and [to that site in AdSense](https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/2659101?hl=en#:~:text=Click%20Access%20and%20authorization%2C%20then,the%20invitation%20before%20it%20expires.)–
   granting access to any newly created Google account.
 * Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

 * Hello [@jamesosborne](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jamesosborne/). I will
   try to create a separate Google account as you suggested, and see how it works
   with Site Kit. Much appreciated.

 * Sounds like a plan [@jordia](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jordia/)! Be
   sure to reach out if you have any further questions. I’ll close this support
   topic but do re-open should you encounter any problems setting up Site Kit with
   a new account. Best of luck.
