 * Hi all,
 * I have a WordPress blog as part of my site. The blog is installed at /blog as
   the rest of the site existed long before. I now want to rebuild the rest of the
   site which is currently completely static.
 * Is there anyway I can utilise this WordPress install to build a homepage and
   other pages under the root directory /?
 * Could I perhaps create static pages within the /blog install directory and then
   rewrite the URL’s to map to all the old static pages using htaccess?
 * Thanks in advance for any help you can give!
 * Steve.
