# Using WordPress only as CMS

 * I’m searching for documentation that addresses how I want to set up my website.
   I want to use only static pages, with no posts anywhere on the site. Where do
   I start?

 * WordPress already is a CMS. 🙂
 * If you don’t want posts on your site, then don’t publish posts. There’s absolutely
   no requirement to use posts.

 * But are there settings to make initially to do that. I’m hoping to find a tutorial
   or something where someone else did this. Looking at the “getting started” information
   makes the assumption that blog posts will be key to your website.

 * If you have an older classic theme, look at Settings > Reading in your Dashboard
   and choose a front page other than your latest posts.
 * If you have a newer block theme, there’s nothing to do except avoid publishing
   posts. 🙂
