# Using WordPress Upload System in a Plugin

 * Hi everyone,
 * i’m currently developing a plugin which depends on the uploading of images. As
   such i’d like to make use of the well built WordPress default upload system. 
   Does anyone know how to achieve that? Or could you point me towards any solution
   of the kind?

 * i had to resort to using a custom upload system.
    Still if anyone knows how to
   achieve this i’d be much grateful.

 * Yeah there is the wp_handle_upload situated in the /wp-admin/includes/file.php
 * I use that to to get the files into wordpress… but i’m looking for something 
   that ads it to a post as an attachment.
