# Using wordpress

 * This is a rather silly question but I may have done something wrong. I have only
   used this for two hours and dont quite understand whats happening in the background.
 * I have just installed wordpress on my site but i dont know the url of the blog.
   If I want to share with others – how can if give them the link?
 * when I click on the name of my blog (top left of the dashboard)it goes to my 
   home page – I need to be able to link my blog from my home page.

 * It sounds like you have installed WP in the root directory when you already have
   files there. If you have an existing site, the best and easiest way is to install
   the blog in a folder (/blog/ for example) so installation will not overwrite 
   any existing files and there should be no file name conflicts.
