# Using WP 3.3.1, cannot access dashboard anymore

 * I have read many other FAQs and posts on this site, but I don’t know how to fix
   my problem. I considered myself somewhat computer savvy until now.
    That last
   time I edited my website was March 2015. I don’t use an FTP or shell to edit 
   my website, I’ve always just visited [http://www.echoesofchicago.org/wp-admin/index.php](http://www.echoesofchicago.org/wp-admin/index.php).
   But now when I visit that URL the menu options on the left side of the screen
   are there, but everything to the right of it is blank (see 1 in screenshot file)

   it tells me I have WP version 3.3.1) (see 2 in screenshot file)

   see 3 in screenshot file). When I click the “connect to wordspress.com” button

   I click the “update jetpack now” button, but that takes me to [http://www.echoesofchicago.org/wp-admin/plugins.php?s=jetpack](http://www.echoesofchicago.org/wp-admin/plugins.php?s=jetpack).
   Again, the menu shows up on the left, but the right side of the screen is blank.

 * If I click any other menu items on the left side of the screen, the right side
   of the screen is blank.
 * I downloaded the newest version of WP to my computer hoping it would help but
   I don’t understand what to do next (if this is even a solution).

 * Upgrading will probably fix it. If not, at least we’ll be better equipped to 
   help you.

 * Don’t worry, it’s not as complicated as it looks, the guide is just *excessively*
   detailed.
 * You’ll set up FTP access through your hosting provider.
