# v 4 navigation array

 * The navigation array on the left side has been relegated to icons. Maybe you 
   young guys like this, but us older poeople need to see the words. I have to take
   the time now to go down icon by icon to find what I am looking for. This is ridiculous.
   At least provide an option, which I did not see any. I did see an arrow button
   at the bottom. I thought that might expand the array, but it did nothing.
 * I’d just as soon go back to the previous version.
 * How can I expand the array so I can see the options?

 * Sounds like you’ve accidentally clicked on the very bottom icon in the column.
   It looks like an arrow inside a solid circle. Try clicking on that to re-expand
   the menu.
 * [edit] Nevermind… I apparently cannot read. 🙂 Sorry! You may have something 
   else going on there. You might try deactivating your plugins to see if the behavior
   changes. Perhaps there’s a conflict of some sort happening.

 * Well, on that particular blog it looks like a hacker as destroyed the site. I
   am having to reconstuct the whole blog with a new database and the works.
 * I haven’t checked my other blogs to see if this is a problem.

 * I got the blog back up. The array is not expanding.
 * I also created a brand new test blog, no plugins, default theme. It will not 
   expand.
 * This is the oddest thing. I have other domains where the array is expanding just
   fine, but on this domain it does not work. I do not understand other than taking
   a sledge hammer to the computer.
