 * Had a quick look and it looks like it adds a whole lot of extra fluff.
   – There
   used to be only 5 files in 3 folders.– Now it’s 79 files in 37 folder (!)
 * What garbage has been added here?

 * Hello, guys!
 * There are no feature changes in version 2.0.0. This update includes a refactor
   to comply with WordPress developer rules.
 * We have added i18n support, and made changes to plugin files, classes, methods,
   and variables to adhere to WordPress naming conventions.
 * Best regards

 * Thanks, but seems to be very odd that it requires 74 files more files and 34
   more folders just to comply with WP developer rules and naming conventions.
 * The plugin must already have followed basic WP requirements otherwise it wouldn’t
   have been be approved in the repository.

 * [@jpnl](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jpnl/) the increase of folders and
   files is associated with composer libraries and implementing autoloading, but
   this does not affect the plugin’s performance.

 * The 1.3.1 version was a very simple plugin. I added the code to a private git
   repository and checked the differences to 2.0.0. The new version contains now
   build folders and several other inlined plugins (e.g. widget news and table links).
   That’s all unnecessary code which probably adds some nag screens to the WordPress
   dashboard.
 * Don’t need this. Feel free to create your forks.
