# Valid API Key not working

 * Hi there,
 * how do I insert the API Key correctly, to get displayed the weather?
 * I have generated a valid API Call on openweathermaps (like this:
    _[http://api.openweathermap.org/data/2.5/forecast/city?id=XXXXXXX&APPID=76fc41b54da7de1cc7613366f23e1c91](http://api.openweathermap.org/data/2.5/forecast/city?id=XXXXXXX&APPID=76fc41b54da7de1cc7613366f23e1c91)_)
   and inserted this link into the **Open Weather Map API key** field (global settings).
 * But it seems, the widget can’t read any information from the API Key.
