# Validating Website Feed

 * I’m looking into validating the site and the feed but not sure what is going 
   on with the both of them.

 * Site is in HTML5 and it looks like the Feed is being converted to HTML as well
   causing problems. Is this an encoding (utf-8) problem that should be changed 
   to something else? I’m actually quiet confused on what to do.
 * I also use the theme’s short codes, example [blockquote][/blockquote] to add 
   some fancy stuff to the front end. It’s also used to embed the videos which I
   noticed are also causing errors. Maybe this is part of the issue?
