# Validation error question

 * My site was validated, today I got the following error, but after looking at 
   the log and line number, I’m not sure why my site is producing this error. Any
   help would be appreciated.

 * Lists must contain List Items to be valid XHTML. Empty UL’s are not allowed.
 * Since that particular UL is a monthly archive list of your posts, I expect it
   will go away when you have actual posts on the blog. No posts = no archives =
   empty archive list.
