# Validation problem

 * Once again my validation problem: my site (www.early-stone.de/ala/) is not valid
   XHTML, since WordPress always automatically wraps p-tags around h3-headings?
 * Why does WP automatically add those p-tags and how can I prevent it from doing
   so?
 * I would be glad about some helpful comments. Thx.

 * I updated to the most recent Nightly Build, but it isn’t working though. I just
   can’t explain why WP wraps p-tags arounf headings. If anyone knows an answer 
   to the problem, please help me. thx

 * I think the point here is that you’re the only reporting this issue. The rest
   of us have no trouble with validation out-of-the-box, nor have we seen the behavior
   which you describe.

 * No, I think the point is that you’re not using extra heading-tags on your site.
   Try it and you gonna see that it’s same on your page. Nevertheless thanks that
   you cared about the problem.

 * I got the solution. It was Textile. I disabled Textile and now use Markdown instead
   and voila it’s working.
