 * What’s the simplest way to create a variable for a link? e.g. I have a link scattered
   throughout my site. I want to be able to change this link globally. Change it
   once, and links throughout site also change.

 * Try using the plugin Better Search Replace. There you can search for the link
   and then replace it everywhere in the website.
