# Variable product error message display

 * Hello,
    I have a question: When a customer is on the single product page for 
   a variable product and does NOT chose a variation and then clicks on “Add to 
   cart”, a message will show up at the top saying that he needs to make a selection
   first. But then the message stays even when he does make a selection (before 
   clicking the add to cart button). Would it be possible to have the error message
   removed as sson as a selection is made?

 * This message shows up when you have not selected an option and want to put something
   into the cart. It means that you need to make a selection first – which is fine,
   but the message still shows up once you have chosen an option. You still can 
   proceed and the product is added to the cart, but it would be more customer friendly
   if the message disappears as soon as the customer has clicked on an option.

 * Ah I see. We don’t hide the notices if you do stuff within the page. This could
   be done with some custom jquery code if needed..
