 * Hello, I found an issue with Variable Products in WooCommerce.
   This only happens
   when one of the variations is out of stock.
 * For testing, I created a product with two variations: **Option A** and **Option
   B**.
    - Option A stock: 10
    - Option B stock: 0
 * When selecting Option A on the product page, everything works as expected:
   [https://prnt.sc/yIXH8UPiF2n9](https://prnt.sc/yIXH8UPiF2n9)
 * When selecting Option B (out of stock), it also displays correctly:
   [https://prnt.sc/DN_gqXro6R93](https://prnt.sc/DN_gqXro6R93)
 * The problem occurs when switching back to Option A after first selecting Option
   B. At that point, Option A cannot be added to the cart, and the **Get Notified**
   message still shows up:
   [https://prnt.sc/lz8_fLmA04DI](https://prnt.sc/lz8_fLmA04DI)
 * Clicking **Clear** fixes it, but that’s confusing and inconvenient for customers.
 * Is this the normal behavior of WooCommerce Variable Products?
   If not, does anyone
   know a solution to this issue?
 * You can reproduce the problem here:

 * Thank you.

 * Hi [@catchopcd](https://wordpress.org/support/users/catchopcd/),
 * Thanks for sharing the details and the test product link. I ran some tests on
   my end using the default Storefront theme and the variable product switching
   works fine. You can see it in action here: [https://streamable.com/j8ozti](https://streamable.com/j8ozti).
 * From what I can tell, the “Get Notified” button behavior seems to be tied to
   your theme, specifically, the Shoptimizer theme. Since your site is cached with
   FlyingPress, I couldn’t pinpoint the exact code, but that feature looks like
   it’s part of Shoptimizer’s built-in functionality.
 * You can also test as well: [https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/](https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/).
 * Because it’s unique to your theme, I’d recommend reaching out to the Shoptimizer
   theme developers. They’ll be best equipped to help you adjust how the button
   behaves when switching between variations.
 * I hope that helps. Let us know if you need anything else.

 * Thank you for your detailed explanation, Frank.
   I’ll contact the theme developer
   and provide an update here later.
 * I also tested this after disabling the cache plugin but still saw the same, so
   that shouldn’t be the cause.

 * Thanks for confirming, [@catchopcd](https://wordpress.org/support/users/catchopcd/)!
 * Since this looks to be tied to your theme and you’re already reaching out to
   the Shoptimizer developers, I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as resolved on
   our end.
 * If you run into any other issues with WooCommerce itself, please feel free to
   open a new thread and we’ll be glad to help.
 * Best of luck with the theme fix!
