# Variation description includes SIZE

 * In woocommerce db my Variation Descriptions are empty since for all variations,
   description is like the parent product. 
   The plugin xml output shows the size“
   L/XL” inside Description field instead of Parent description.
 * How can I take description (and other fields) from Parent product?
 * Is there a hook for that?

 * We have developed a code snippet to add the parent description to the child variation
   description. You may please copy the snippet from **[here](https://gist.github.com/webtoffee-git/e81feac2b907220a341064b6a61c7102)**
   and add it to the active theme’s functions.php file on your site and try again.
 * We will be including the change in the upcoming version. You can remove the code
   snippet on next update.
