    In Android devices, the Gallery/popup view appear at the top of the window, and you must manually scroll up to see it. On all mobile devices, the top row with the close button is bahing the top-menu of the master theme (I have tried with the Three theme and Twenty Thirteen theme. So you cannot close the popup because the searchicon is “above” the “close” button.

    If you load the page in a mobile phone, or just downsize your browser to 320px width and try to click one of the pictures at the bottom, you will see the problem when the popup is appearing.

    Yeah, I have figured that out too.

    The following CSS override is needed for mobile view to work

    ul#huge_it_portfolio_popup_list_2 {
    z-index: 99999 !important;
    }
