Verify ID issue?

So I’m getting this message on top of EVERY PAGE! “You could put your verification ID in a comment Or, in its own meta tag Or, as one of your keywords Your content is here. The verification ID will NOT be detected if you put it here.” I’ve researched into this issue, and noticed we only have google webmaster tools. So I found what what I needed to do, include the <meta> tags with the proper content and such… But I still see this annoying message. Even uninstalling the plugin, the message still shows up. Whats the deal? How do I get rid of this… I don’t want my viewers seeing this, this should NEVER be something a guest should see.
