 * I have created a Google+ page and want to link it to my website. I have the following
   instructions from Google:
Ask your site’s webmaster to add the following line
of code to your site’s homepage: (and it gives me a code)
 * I am using Arclite theme and am not sure where to add this code. I think that
I have to add it in Arclite: Header (header.php) but just not sure where to put
it on this page. I would be really grateful if somebody could help me with this.
 * Thanks!!!

 * You could post it as a sidebar element, then they would
    see that you are on
   Google+.

 * It really depends on where you want it to be on your page.
 * As suggested above, sidebars are good for that kind of thing, but the header
   or footer could work too.

 * The instructions that google give are “Copy and paste the code snippet provided
to the Copy and paste the code snippet provided to the <head> tag of your website”–
so what I need to know is what/where is the the <head> tag of my website.

 * Here’s a tutorial for how to implement Google authorship: [http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-get-googles-verified-authorship-for-your-wordpress-blog/](http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-get-googles-verified-authorship-for-your-wordpress-blog/)
The code typically needs to go in the HTML head. How to do that could depend
on your theme; generally it requires editing header.php, as WPyogi said. See
   the tutorial for more.
 * If you have more questions, please open a new thread for them.
