 * Hi folks,
 * I just wanted to ask for assistance where to raise the concern about an potentially“
   outdated” release version of the twentytwentytwo theme?
 * The current WordPress release version 5.9.1 already refers to the theme version
   1.1 which is not available at the very moment.
    This resolves in issues with
   wp-cli when updating themes.
 * There are already some trac entries available ([52781](https://core.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/52781),
   [52782](https://core.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/52782)).
 * Is it intended to bump the official theme version to 1.1 shortly to solve this?
 * Thanks for your assistance.

 * Bundled themes in 5.9.1 has the latest version (1.1) of twentytwentytwo theme.
 * Look at the style.css which shows `verson: 1.1`:
 *     ```
       /*
       Theme Name: Twenty Twenty-Two
       Theme URI: https://wordpress.org/themes/twentytwentytwo/
       Author: the WordPress team
       Author URI: https://wordpress.org/
       Description: Built on a solidly designed foundation, Twenty Twenty-Two embraces the idea that everyone deserves a truly unique website. The theme’s subtle styles are inspired by the diversity and versatility of birds: its typography is lightweight yet strong, its color palette is drawn from nature, and its layout elements sit gently on the page. The true richness of Twenty Twenty-Two lies in its opportunity for customization. The theme is built to take advantage of the Full Site Editing features introduced in WordPress 5.9, which means that colors, typography, and the layout of every single page on your site can be customized to suit your vision. It also includes dozens of block patterns, opening the door to a wide range of professionally designed layouts in just a few clicks. Whether you’re building a single-page website, a blog, a business website, or a portfolio, Twenty Twenty-Two will help you create a site that is uniquely yours.

 * Exactly, however there is no version 1.1 to download officially, right?
    The
   theme page still says it’s version 1.0 [Twenty Twenty-Two](https://wordpress.org/themes/twentytwentytwo/).
 * It’s not possible to install v1.1 from WP-CLI either and the theme’s SVN repository
   only consists of 1.0 as well [Twenty Twennty-Two SVN](https://themes.svn.wordpress.org/twentytwentytwo/).
 *     ```
       ❯ wp-cli theme install twentytwentytwo --version=1.1
       Error: Can't find the requested theme's version 1.1 in the WordPress.org theme repository (HTTP code 404).
       ```
 * Do I oversee anything here?
 * So that means that the code of V1.0 and V1.1 is the same?
 * Almost, they are not 100% identical.
 * There are slight differences as a few tickets have been included as you can see
   in the [changelog](https://wordpress.org/support/article/twenty-twenty-two-changelog/#Version_1.1)
   of v1.1
