    Hi,
I updated from version 1.10 to 1.12 and it has caused an error with a Custom Post Type with custom fields. The TinyMCE editor does not load and I cannot switch between the Text tab and the Visual tab. The console gives the error “Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘external_plugins’ of undefined” and references the file /wp-content/plugins/wp-image-zoooom/assets/js/tinyMCE-button.js?wp-mce-4506-20170408 on line 4. And also references wp-includes/js/tinymce/tinymce.min.js.

It’s obviously conflicting with the WordPress TinyMCE editor.

    Hi,

    thank you for mentioning this.

I’ve modified the code without making a release. Would you please uninstall the previous zoom plugin version and reinstall it from the ww.wp.xz.cn, or alternatively from here (it’s the same code). Make sure you purge the caches and see if this solves your problem.

Hey that works. Thanks for the quick response & fix.
Will I just update as normal next time?
    Thanks

Yes, next time you’ll update as normal from WP Admin -> Plugins page.
